From energy to thoughts, Indigo opens the space for movement to be looked at for what it is:
CONSCIOUSNESS BIRTHING ITSELF in space and across time
As we relearn to speak and grow into Language, our relationship with Thought Systems come into awareness as we ask ourselves
What is Consciousness and the Nature of the Mind?
What are Thoughts and How do They Emerge as They Do?
What is Knowledge and How Do We Come to Understand Things in the World?
What is Connection and How Does an Other Bring About a Sense of Self?
Cognitive Resonance
Humans have described Thought as unconscious, disconnected and random objects, emerging from a Chaos-filled Mind, tainted by endless cognitive biases, driven by Pleasure Principles, Sexual Drives, Neuroses and Fear Avoidances. innerdance can often also seem a random happenstance, an arbitrary creation that is borne of chance, timing and personal intentions.
The very structure of innerdance as a workshop process is formulated from some of Philosophy’s timeless questions. Indigo considers how the experiential spiritual journey is a form that mirrors the content of our collective consciousness. By asking a series of simple questions, we come to understand the innerdance, as a finger that points to the inner universe we look at.
From performers, we become observers of a story that shifts into a non-linear narrative since its many parts are now witnessed as a whole.
The first innerdance I ever had was one of being held in the bottom of the earth. I saw myself in a deep pit lying flat on the ground with my eyes just gazing at the sky. Later, I saw myself in a white dress standing on a rock looking at the vast ocean. At one point, I was witnessing the first flames coming out of cracks in the earth’s crust. My earliest memory in human history was witnessing myself as a primitive man in a vast area. My cheeks were painted with aqua stripes. Eventually, some of the deepest and often painful innerdance experiences took me back to archaic moments in Africa, North America. This has helped me to understand how the past and the future are entangled somehow influencing each other.

Thought Brings Chaos into Order from Origins
As such, Thoughts are somehow worthy of our Trust. Instead of controlling or containing, distracting or halting them when possible, Thoughts must be Experienced and Loved and well-understood.
In the innerdance, thoughts wander, stretch out and then the thinker is surprised by where he or she has been taken by them. In the journey, thoughts aren’t something to be held down or stopped. Instead, Thoughts Convey Intelligent Systems - extending onto interesting non-linear vistas, revealing patterns hidden within the randomness and chaos of the Universe, proposing there are relationships with the Mind that allow implicate connections embedded in it to emerge and become explicate.
The evolution of spiritual consciousness that perceives patterns within, relate to the origins of our thought systems from the personal and the global. When we experience how these patterns occur, so do we describe and understand the nature of how consciousness operates from its simpler origins.
In the inner dance, The Story of the Mind is sometimes told in dimensionality and forms. Holding pattern above our thinking processes, the Mind weaves a meta-continuum Jacqui describes after her first innerdance experience:
As I came back to Source, I watched it all spiral into creation. From a single point, it spiraled up and around, wider and wider as different things manifested into form. I watched as it expanded, it was energy manifesting into different dimensions and continuums. I saw linear time expressed as a single viewpoint from this point of the spiral. As if it was possible to take in the expanded perspective of all that Is, to have access to everything at once, while somehow being able to focus all this onto a single direction, a limited single line of sight and slowing this down almost to a freeze frame. I could feel the innate balance of everything in my life, how all the people that I’d ever interacted with were drawn to me in complete balance and harmony.
innerdance as a return to Origins:
in the beginning of the experience, a huge electrical storm was happening inside my head. From time to time my body would shudder for a few seconds as vibrational translations occur like mini-earthquakes. My eyes sink deep inside my head and the intense energies are directed upwards as deep REM takes place. I watch while what feels like the Big Bang happens in my consciousness. In this vast space, I began to sense what it was like to be Earth prior to any concept or thought. As I moved my hands, I was moving as rocks and stones move. The sensation is indescribable, I have never felt anything close to this before. How are we able to move with such density and slowness?
