Deep Story

we are becoming the earth

The Playlist tells this Story through the evolutions it has undergone. In a sense, it has a History, which mimics the History of the Earth and the History of History itself. For instance, the Playlist might sometimes contain emotive, electronic, cultural, spiritual, or nature elements, all of which bring about biographical, dream-like, mystical all the way to unexpected experiences that are difficult to describe. The experiences might be deeply personal and at times, highly impersonal.  Very often, people describe the experience as if they are becoming the Earth.

We hearken back to Jacqui's written account, which we shared in the first pages of Yellow:
I suddenly witnessed the process of creation; I saw time go back to the beginning and then speed up through the unfoldment of the manifestation of life. I saw worlds and universes being created. The sun arose and then set as the Earth came into form. I was somehow feeling and remembering what it all signified.

When people in the innerdance share that they are often losing their consciousness (passing out or falling asleep), they enter a similar Time Perception from the early perspective of what is beyond human awareness.

What does it mean, that we are beginning to share the awareness of Earth itself?

In the philosophical sciences, History has many Houses, depending who is telling the Story and who is listening to it.

For some weeks, a Filipina who had been experiencing innerdance for several years experienced losing her eyesight while also gaining her vision. Instead of losing her ability to speak or understand words, Joyce experienced a profound shift in her Brain's perceiving-listening capacities. In her own words, she writes:

Joyce's story is just one of many that describes the deep realization of the changes at work within the human Brain and Mind-Body.  Joyce is an artist whose scholarship focuses on trans-media elements, particularly in how different channels of information bring about an innerdance sort of shift in how sounds, images, words and movements interplay within a vibrant collective consciousness.

Her work and spiritual experience signal how histories find meeting points as many cultures fast learn to communicate with each other using advanced channels and technologies in recent decades.

Beyond the multi-cultural and the inter-lingual, sciences and philosophies are coming together in inter-disciplinary convergences.  Narratives separate in multiple philosophical, psychological, linguistic, neurological, anthropological and biological understandings now integrate in a unified story-telling, which happens not just in academic circles, but also in spiritual communities that are learning to value the multiple knowledge structures that all contribute to the meta-narrative of humans and the Earth.

In previous innerdance energy schools, we often regard Catherine Malabou's essay and talk entitled the Brain of History as she comes from an inter-disciplinary field that marries many perspectives in continental philosophy and the progressive insights within the neurosciences, particularly in plasticity and epigenetics. In her talk, Malabou lucidly explains the radical shift from old historical narratives, to the new concept of history, which poses:
What comes after history itself?

In so many ways, Malabou brings a highly condensed account of the many movements at work within the innerdance, validating the role addiction plays from a Deep History vantage. Malabou accounts for how the anthropocene brings about a momentous occasion heralding the loss of consciousness, substantiating why and how altered states of awareness are organically becoming part of a natural tendency in the human mind to synchronize greatly with the consciousness of the planet.

The following Playlist features an edited version of this same Brain of History talk, edited and with some reflections from previous Zoom Calls. Click on the link to download:

Juanita Naidoo, an Indian woman from South Africa looks at what it means to be both human and to be planetary at the same time based on an innerdance experience with nature.

When the inner and the outer reality become expressions of each other, something profound takes place as we learn to synchronize our body's rhythms with the mentality held in the world's collective constructions we all choose to become fully responsible for.
