All colors hold space for consciousness to explore and to be explored. They all hold aspects of each other and some represent deeper connections that are but expanded mirrors of one another. Red and Green, Orange and Blue, Yellow and Indigo, all held by the integrative Violet.
In the endless possibilities of the ocean that is the unconscious, Blue is the open channel through which we grow from and emerge into a world full of meanings ready to define reality and to be redefined by it at the same time. At this point, we review aspects of Orange that gain light from developmental psychology, language and communication theories, as well as social studies regarding old and new paradigms of consciousness.
In the innerdance journey, consciousness experiences its primal aspects: what was it like before we were born? How does the transition between the great void of existence to history take place? Once peeling the Orange onion, layer by layer, visiting the theories of Regression, Aphasia and Epilepsy, we begin to observe the rawness of a body-mind that is electricity and magnetism formed and actualized not only into flash and bones, but also into language.
In this sense, we start asking some of the questions regarding Blue:
What does growth truly mean?
What are the structures that shape Spirit into the materiality of this holographic world?
What are the interactions between consciousness and language?
Traditionally, Blue is connected to self-expression: how do we channel the creativity emergent in Orange and how do we create a world out of it?
Humans communicate through many ways: sounds, gestures, images... Sometimes, a simple look can translate deep messages between the parts involved in the process. All across history, we have been witnessing the growth of such ways: technology and the Arts have been showing us the infinite possibilities to convey meaning and to create new realities.
In a broader sense, every way of expression can be considered as a Language: from traffic lights, to formal documents, everything carries out information and as social and political beings interconnected through a collective underweb of representations, we partake in such ongoing exchange of significances.
Such process is present not just in humans: animals, plants, all creatures have their own way of communicating, they all have their own Language. Yet, at one point in history, the human brain started developing in ways that would outgrow the primitive aspects of existentiality: from simply and barbaric gestures and sounds, words were combined out of the connections between the environment and human activities, leaving us with the inquiries: was spoken language an effect or a cause of the evolution of the brain? In this spectrum, what is Language?

Language Means
I had a very vivid experience of going backward in time to my land ‘Egypt’ before the pyramids. That was the mere beginning. I kept going backward to what I can call the Big Bang, then I kept going beyond this to the point before it all existed. I saw the Void, an empty place where nothing existed yet that void held the full potentiality of all that exists. I entered this void and watched how creation restarted all over again - everywhere within this void, we are all one earth consciousness remembering itself through us.

Such is the world before language. Sharings such as the above are common occurrences in the innerdance. Slowly, minds that reenter the world emerge into language. As we wade in the meaningless and the infinite and seem to lose our sense of Time and History, so do we regain a more expansive consciousness that unfolds in words and meanings. The innerdance contains stories of Why and How from the originary sense of the What.
what is language?
Historically, language was once seen as separate from thought, mind and body. Since innerdance is a body language, we are able to think and speak from what the body has to say. Very slowly, a non-verbal communication extends itself. From the sounds of silence, a mind speaks truths from unfamiliar ground, slow and soft.
Society necessitates a language just as Language also necessitates a Society, if Language wasn't just a tool, a means to an end. In the innerdance, language awakens, an intelligent space that comes alive, speaking us much more than we speak it.
Today, we experience language as it is now, in and of itself. Language has a history (and a historicity), one as old as time itself. A history of shifting perception, of growth and progress, which today undergoes a powerful transformation that became possible based on all that has evolved prior to now and here.
Usually, Language organizes, coordinates and systematizes. To most, Innerdance is an unfamiliar language, because it seems to disorganize more than it puts things in neat chronological order. New Language formations are often uncoordinated and unconventional - it does not conform with current paradigms and systems of thinking. In its newness, Language offers 1.) new forms (the containers of thought) and 2.) new content (the meanings represented by thoughts). The innerdance is a dance between new form and new content, where these once-distinct features of language become an indistinct oneness.

Traditionally, thought is transmitted by its sender, obtained by the receiver. Thoughts are sent as messages carried over by mediums or channels for thought.
In innerdance, form and content, medium and´ messages, sender and receiver become one and seamless with each other. We are somehow not just part of one universal dialogue, We Are Dialogue called the Uni-verse. |
