Last June 19, 2021, in the midst of an online innerdance energy school process, a Canadian woman who has been part of the global community for many years now was present for a zoom call while on an afternoon train on the way to her parents' house. She slowly noticed that her brain was undergoing a strange shift as she watched her body lose control, until epileptic seizures and spasms completely undertook her and she found herself unable to walk and talk in a public Sunday moment.  She was just able to call a friend to get her safely to her home as she found herself fully able to surrender into rare dimensions of the mind that happen in near-death, dreams, intense spiritual awakenings and other such deep states of awareness.

​The process of losing aspects of one's personal ego is also the gaining of a much larger spectrum of our collective consciousness. The person is observed to be likened to a wise adult baby, guided by a knowing that transcends human thought and language processes.

This ego-death event that takes place in innerdance contributes to the gaps in our understanding of the human mind. Mental disorders are not problems as much as they might be opportunities for deep transformations.  Fanny is just one of many people who've undergone a holistic shift.  It is our task now to talk safely about what we know of healing in-depth, through the intensive lens of innerdance.

Through the weeks that followed the initial moment on the train, Fanny stayed in an aphasia condition that has been observed many times before but has rarely been documented on video.  While she was still in Aphasia, we had the opportunity to hold a one-on-one conversation with her on Zoom which we recorded with her agreement. There's much to learn from the situation of having to speak profound messages to someone without words over the internet.

On our first week in Orange, we covered introductory spiritual and scientific contexts to Epilepsy to bring safe conditions that allows us to go deeper into the understanding of how and why Aphasia happens in innerdance.

We are grateful that we can learn from those who've undergone in-depth into the Journey, which likely includes your own. We are grateful that we have this chance to intensively dialogue about what happens in these intense states of Aphasia. For the upcoming Orange Zoom conversations, we hope to speak to Fanny and others who have gone through similar experiences.
